This is the real version, with the hard parts left in.

  1. 2007

    The henna girl

I started as a henna (mehndi) artist in the summer vacation of 7th standard, and freelanced for years.

I did henna for 100+ women and girls for free or for just ₹100–500, at a time when bridal henna cost ₹5,000–10,000.

150+ henna designs and bridal makeovers later, I knew I loved making people feel beautiful.

  2. 2009–2011

    Beauty & teaching

I learned the full beautician course in 2009 and worked from home and in a salon. I got my professional certificate in 2011.

From 2009 I also taught young kids at home (junior KG to 5th), and CBSE/ICSE students from nursery to 7th.

  3. After 12th

    The teacher year

After 12th, I taught English and Geography to 5th–10th standard students for a year.

  4. 4 years

    Learning how businesses really run

2 years in administration, 1 year in HR, 1 year as a hotel manager.

This is where I learned how businesses actually work behind the scenes.

  5. 2016

    Fashion design

I did a one-year fashion designing diploma. Another creative language, learned.

  6. 2017

    The hardest year

    My father passed away.

Some years you don't grow, you just hold on. I held on.

  7. 8 years

    8 years of marketing

Social media marketing, website development and graphic design — 100+ brands created.

  8. 2020

    A new chapter

I got married and moved to Hyderabad for about six years.

I loved my family life, but I couldn't focus on my dreams there.

  9. 2023 · Dubai

    Customer Relationship Manager

In 2023 I moved to Dubai and worked as a Customer Relationship Manager for a year. I worked really hard, learned so much, and finally understood how business truly works.

  10. 2023

    Letting go of henna

Severe neck pain. The doctor told me to stop doing henna, so I did.

The same year, I did an online cost control management course.

  11. 2025

    The pause

I had a major surgery and couldn't focus on my business. I stopped working and stopped taking clients for almost a year.

  12. 2026

    The comeback

I moved back to Mumbai — a new life with new rules.

I completed an AI generalist course and an online mental health course.

Now I run Imcord, Growvus Studio and the Growvus Charitable Foundation under Growvus Technologies, a DIPP-recognised startup.
